⚠️ Stripped Naked Vapour — What the Hell Happened to This Website and Retail Store?

As of 17 June 2025, the New Zealand Government has forced all vape retailers — including long-standing, fully compliant independents like us — to:

• ❌ Remove all product images

• ❌ Erase nearly every product description we’ve hand-written over 14 years

• ❌ Ban all discounts, bundles, and loyalty rewards

• ❌ Strip store signage and websites down to bland, generic text

• ❌ Stop speaking directly to our own customers about our own products

We didn’t choose this.

Yes, there was a public consultation.
But we didn’t respond — not out of apathy, but out of burnout.
Previous regulations had already shredded our workflow, crushed our morale, and left us walking on eggshells.
When every word you write feels like a legal risk, silence becomes self-preservation.
That’s not consultation — that’s quiet coercion.

So now we’re left with a stripped-back, hard-to-navigate shell of the store we once proudly built.

If it feels soulless, frustrating, or empty — it’s not your imagination.
This is what happens when regulation is written by people who may have stepped inside a store — but have never lived the reality of operating one under daily pressure, changing rules, shrinking margins, escalating cost of doing business/living and zero margin for error.

But we’re still here. Still independent. Still fighting to serve you — while we still can.
