Designed to allow the larger diameter tanks to look a whole lot better when coupled to the much narrower eGo styled batteries.
ie: Standard eGo/EVOD type batteries with a Vivi Nova, BCC mega, DCT tank fitted (much larger diameter than the battery)
Adds quite a nice curved natural transition from the tank down to the battery and covers the exposed eGo threading.
Improves the appearence and also plays a small role in airflow - built in air flow channels.
