The product being recalled is the generic AC USB adapters that MAY have a manufacturing flaw that could pose a risk of electric shock to the end user.
These AC Adapters were supplied in e-Cigarette starter kits from September this year until the 21st of December 2015. They were also sold separately.
To do this you will need a Multimeter to check continuity of the wall plug pins against the outer metal part of the USB connection.
If you get a closed circuit reading from the right hand pin - ie; low resistance reading (where the N is molded) - this adapter needs to be returned to us for replacement. Link for return details
If you get a open circuit reading from the right hand pin - ie: no change at all (where the N is molded) - this adapter is OK
- see video below -
Due to the timing of this notification and recall, and the fact we are closed from the 24th of December to the 5th of January 2016, any remedies will most likely take place after the 5th of January, 2016.
Until we can resolve this issue for you, please do not continue to use this adaptor - it is unsafe to do so.
You can charge your e-Cigarette batteries with standard AC USB adaptors like those supplied with most smart phones, tablets and or computer/laptop USB ports. For those in main centres, K-mart stores have these adaptors for under $10 - keep your receipt.
